Summer School 2012 General Information
REGISTRATION
CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION
Beginning Tuesday, April 17, 2012, current students will be able to register via Self Service. Students may register for a maximum of 6 hours in one session. We recommend that you meet with your academic advisor for assistance in selecting your classes.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
New student registration begins Monday, April 30, 2012. Registration will be by appointment in the Summer School/ADP Office. Call 704.461.6666, to schedule an appointment.
Students may register for a maximum of 6 hours in one session.
VISITING STUDENT REGISTRATION
You are considered a visiting student if you fall into one of the following categories: Enrolled in another college or university or High school senior. All visiting students must complete the Summer School application before registering for classes. Please return the application to:

Summer school class offerings are contingent upon sufficient enrollment. Students should check the Belmont Abbey College website or the Self Service database frequently for additional course offerings or changes in schedule. Students may register for a maximum of 6 hours in one session.
Admission to summer school does not imply or guarantee admission to the academic year. Students desiring admission to the academic year program should submit the appropriate admission application with the Office of Admissions or the Adult Degree Program.
If you are visiting from another college or university, you should obtain approval from the Dean or Registrar at your school for the courses you wish to transfer to that institution. If you are a high school senior and plan to attend Belmont Abbey College in the fall, the summer credits will be applied to a degree at Belmont Abbey College. Belmont Abbey is a fully accredited four-year, liberal arts, undergraduate college.
TUITION & FINANCIAL AID
TUITION
We offer a discounted Summer school tuition rate of $299 per credit hour. Tuition and fees for Summer school must be paid by May 15, 2012. It is the student’s responsibility to coordinate any financial assistance with the Financial Aid Department before May 15, 2012.
FINANCIAL AID

PAYMENT PLAN
The Payment Plan is available for summer school. Students must enroll in the payment plan by May 8, 2012. For more details contact Ashley Graham in the Student Financial Services Office at 704.461.6716 or BusinessOffice@bac.edu.
REFUND POLICY
If Belmont Abbey College cancels a course –100% of tuition is refunded to students.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
Students eligible for an employer reimbursement program must submit all Tuition Deferment forms to Diane Hinson in the Student Financial Services Office by May 15, 2012.

HOUSING
Very limited housing will be available for traditional age students during the summer sessions. Contact the Residence Life Office at 704.461.6893, after you have registered for classes and complete the 2012 Summer School Housing Residence Hall Agreement.
Deadline for applying for housing is April 30, 2012.
